Short film; 2014

running time: 20.43 min

The story of Affinit is inspired by today’s accentuated effort to remain inside the circle of inclusion (the circle of online presence). This anxious effort for continuity is manifested as heightened regulation in different fields of human activity. The film proposes a fictional world that links regulation of matter in sustainable development and regulation of information of one’s self online, in their mutual goal - to defy time.

Affinit is a fictional product that offers it’s users a sustainable lifestyle. Functioning as a personal image archive, the device makes the effect of any matter or body omnipresent by means of their documentation. The film humours the idea of one’s self as a collection of archived images, and the quest to make ones self “sustainable”.
